Funtion:  
When the exhaust is passing through the the Three-way Catalytic Converter, the chemical activity of the gases would be enhanced, they would be subject to an oxidation and deoxidization reaction. Under a certain high temperature, the CO would be oxidized into nontoxic gas—CO2; the HC compound would e turned into H2O and CO2; and the NOX would be deoxidized into Nitrogen. The three nocuous gases would be turned into the non-harmful gas; the catalyst is the core of the device.
